Anthony Roe and Eric Blaire of the LJS on their way to visit the MST Museum

The MST was delighted to host a visit to the Museum by a group from the Liberal Jewish Synagogue in London. The LJS is responsible for two MST scrolls – MST #172 from Moravske Budejovice, and the orphan scroll MST #944. MST #944 is currently cared for by the Gloucestershire Liberal Jewish Community.

Visitors expressed great interest in both the history of the scrolls and the work they may do in the future. Questions were asked by all, from the more senior to the youngest members of the group, who happened to be the great-grandchildren of Ralph Yablon, the benefactor persuaded by Rabbi Reinhart in 1964 to assist in the holy work of saving the scrolls. At the end of the tour, guests commented that the experience had been both historical and spiritual.

If you would like to bring a group to the MST Museum, do please contact us at info@memorialscrollstrust.org or 0207-584-3741. We look forward to sharing with you both the story of what happened to the Czech Scrolls and our hopes and plans for their future.
